Ingredients to make Til Halwa
White Sesame – 1 bowl
Semolina – 1 bowl
Chopped almonds – 1 tbsp
Cashew nuts chopped – 1 tbsp
Chopped walnuts – 1 tbsp
Makhana – 1/2 bowl
Raisins – 1 tbsp
Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
Desi ghee – 1/2 bowl
sugar – as per taste

Sesame Pudding Recipe
If you want to make sesame pudding for Makar Sankranti, first take hot water in a utensil and soak sesame seeds in it for 2-3 hours. This will soften the mole well. After the fixed time, take out the sesame seeds from the water and grind them with the help of a mixer. Take out the ground sesame seeds in a bowl and keep them aside. Now put desi ghee in a pan and keep it to heat on medium flame.

When the ghee melts, add semolina to it and fry till it turns golden. After this slow down the gas flame and add sesame paste and mix it well with semolina with the help of a ladle. Now fry the mixture while stirring. It has to be roasted till the color of sesame also starts to turn light brown. After this, add water as needed in the mixture and stir.

After the semolina and sesame seeds are well cooked and thickened, add sugar and mix and cook for 2 more minutes. Then mix cardamom powder in the pudding. Lastly, add chopped cashews, almonds, walnuts and raisins and mix them in the pudding. After cooking for 1 more minute, turn off the gas. Flavorful Sesame Halwa is ready. You can offer it to God and serve it to everyone.
